- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number M00681-12-T-0007 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-54 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, current to DPN 20111102. The North American Classification System Code is 326199 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition is a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Any quotations received from concerns other than small businesses will be not be considered for award. Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, California, has a requirement for 1,500 sets of Benefit Tags. The required delivery date is December 30th, 2011. The plastic tags are a visual aid / training device used by recruiters. There are 11 tags per set. Each tag is 3 inches wide, 1.5 inches tall and 1.5 mil thick, with a 45 degree bevel around the front edge. The tags have a 0.187 inch hole in the upper right corner and a 4 inch dog chain to bind the set together. See the attached photo for the proper layout of the text and position of the hole. The front surface, or face, is colored as follows: White tag, Black face: Professional Development and Opportunity White tag, Black face: Technical Skills White tag, Green face: Courage, Poise and Self Confidence White tag, Green face: Leadership and Management Skills White tag, Blue face: Self Reliance, Self Direction, Self Discipline White tag, Blue face: Physical Fitness White tag, Wood face: Educational Opportunity White tag, Wood face: Financial Security Advancement and Benefits White tag, Red face: Pride of Belonging Black tag, Yellow face: Travel and Adventure Black tag, Silver face: Challenge The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible business whose quotation conforms to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government. Quoters responding to this announcement must provide the information contained in 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items with their quote. The quoter should also provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, Contractor Establishment code (DUNS number) and Tax Identification Number. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register to submit quotes and be eligible for award (NO EXCEPTIONS). For information on registering with the CCR, visit www.ccr.gov. Quoters are required to be registered in Wide-Area Work Flow. Quoters can self-register for Wide-Area Work Flow (WAWF) at https://wawf.eb.mil. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those quoters that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for award.
