Description: The National Park Service, Department of the Interior, is soliciting proposals from construction firms having the capability to perform the work described below. NAICS Code: 238140 Masonry Contractors Size Standard: $14 Million Project Location: This project is located at San Antonio Missions, San Antonio, Texas. Location and Facilities: Mission San Juan is located at 1901 Graf Road, San Antonio, Texas 78214. The Mission San Juan Convento is a Spanish Colonial period stone structure, constructed in the early 1700s. The Mission is listed on the National Register and is part of the Park's World Historical site nomination. Description: The work of this contract consists of all labor, material, equipment and incidentals to remove any modern Portland cement repairs, repoint all of the existing stone walls and buttresses, and selectively replacing or relaying stonews that are damaged, missing or out of place on the South End of the West Wall at the Mission San Juan Convento. The North end of the Convento houses offices and a storage room. Repointing and stone work has already been accomplished on this portion of the west wall and it will serve as the standard for the new work. Type of Acquisition: A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical and a price proposal. The government will consider an offeror's technical capability, past performance and price to determine the best value (trade-off process) to the government. The government reserves the right to award without discussions. Construction Price Range for this project is estimated to be between $100,000 to $250,000.
