- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION/SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS (RFI/SSS) FOR THE SUSTAINMENT SUPPORT PROGRAM II (SSP II). The Air Force Material Command (AFMC), Electronic System Center (ESC), Legacy Contracting Support Systems (LCSS) Branch (ESC/HIBB), located at Wright-Patterson AFB, is conducting market research in contemplation of competitively awarding a contract daily maintenance and programmatic support for a number of Information Technology (IT) systems currently in sustainment (including but not limited to Acquisition and Due-In System (ADIS-J041), Contracting Information Data System (CIDS-J018R), Contract Writing (ConWrite-J010R), Integrity Tool for Standard Procurement System (SPS), Contract Profit Reporting System (CPRS-J010R), and Contracting Business Intelligence System (CBIS)). The anticipated contract award date is 25 Sep 12 and will consist of 1 six-month base period with 4 one-year options. All interested and qualified sources are encouraged to submit a capabilit! y statement as described in the attached Request for Information/Sources Sought Synopsis document. Firms responding to this announcement should indicate their business size for NAICS code 541511, particularly if they are asserting qualifications as a small business; however, all business sizes are encouraged to response. This RFI/SSS does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposal (RFP), or Request for Quote (RFQ), nor does the issuance restrict the Government's acquisition approach. The Government will use the information provided to determine the availability, capability, and adequacy of potential marketplace sources to develop its acquisition strategy, statement of work or statement of objectives, and performance specifications. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges incurred by any vendor will arise as a result of vendor submission of responses to this announcement or the Government's use of such information. The Government ! will not respond to or conduct formal debriefings to businesses as a part of this RFI/SSS. The Air Force will use the information provided to determine the availability, capability, and adequacy of potential marketplace sources to develop its acquisition strategy, statement of work or statement of objectives, and performance specifications. The due date for capability packages is 3:00 PM EST, 09 January 2012.
