- Maintenance Dredging Joint Base Charleston Channel, Berkeley County and Charleston County, South Carolina. PROJECT INFORMATION: Maintenance Dredging of approximately 1,298,000 cubic yards of unclassified material from the Joint Base Charleston Channel and 186,000 cubic yards of unclassified material near Wharf Alpha shall be deposited in the Yellow House Creek & Joint Base Charleston Disposal Areas, and approximately 50,000 cubic yards of unclassified material at TC Dock shall be deposited in the Joint Base Charleston Disposal Area. The Joint Base Charleston Channel, Yellow House Creek and Joint Base Charleston Disposal Areas are located in Berkeley County, South Carolina. The TC Dock is located in Charleston County, South Carolina. The work includes complying with the Endangered Species Act and Marine Mammals Protection Act. This solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside NAICS CODE 237990 with Small Business Size Standard of $20 MIL. MAGNITUDE $1 Million to $5 Million. Contractor must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of this solicitation. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet. No CD-ROMS or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Bidders must be registered in the CCR and at the Federal Business Opportunity Homepage (www.fbo.gov) in order to view or download the solicitation documents. It is the responsibility of bidders to monitor the website for notices and amendments. This solicitation will be posted on or about 3 January 2012 with bids due 1 February 2012 at 2:00 pm EST.
