Each job will range from 2,500 square feet and could be as high as 8,000 square feet. The Governments estimate of work will be for $The contract would be for 1 year with an option to renew. A cost per job could be submitted and/or quoted out by the square foot, an on site visit may be required/requested in order to verify the amount of area that is to be done. The determining factors for this contract should be based on Price, performance, and technical skills. Project work will consist of week nights after 4:30pm, weekends after 8:00am; various holiday projects will apply as well (need exemption). Contractor will be responsible for stripping of all floors within the assigned area, contractor will utilize there own equipment and our approved stripper. Contractor will be responsible for the removal of any wax, dirt, grime build up on floors, and/or on base boards. The contractor will use our approved wax and sealer. A minimum of 3 coats of wax and 2 coats of sealer or 5 coats total of wax will be applied depending on area being serviced i.e., high traffic versus office space, at a minimum the floors should have a high gloss appearance and be free of scuff marks, heel marks or other noticeable stains, spots or discoloration. The amounts of wax and/or sealer may need to be adjusted if the quality of the wax is brought up for questioning due to poor results and or better product availability. The scheduling of projects will be done by the Housekeeping supervisor and or designated work leader(s). These projects will primarily be done during the evening hours beginning after 4:30pm and depending on the size of the area would run for approximately 8-10hours.
