- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract to iMoneyNet. iMoneyNet provides detailed current and historical data on money market funds in the United States, tools for analyzing the data and creating reports, and online access to publications on money market funds. iMoneyNet provides online access with full-text search capability to the current and archival issues of the following publications: Money Fund Report, Money Market Insight, Rated Money Fund Report, and Money Fund Expense Report. iMoneyNet is the only vendor capable of delivering the data on the analytical platform that is required by the Commission. iMoneyNet’s publications are copyrighted by iMoneyNet, and are not available from any other source. The period of performance will be for one (1) Base Year and two (2) Option Years, effective January 17, 2010. The SEC intends to negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1; Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested organizations may submit their capability statements and qualifications for the provision of this requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements. This is a Notice of Intent, not a solicitation. No solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement and no other information will be provided.
