Description

The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island (MCRDPI), South Carolina (SC) is issuing a pre-solicitation notice for a firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract for the preventative maintenance of MCRDPI's fleet of boats for a one (1) year base period of performance and two (2) one (1) year option periods. The location of the boats is MCRDPI, SC. This solicitation will be issued as a 100% percent small business set-aside procurement. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 811490 and the size standard is $7.0 Million. The services will be acquired utilizing procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and FAR Subpart 19-5, Set-Asides for Small Business. The fleet of boats is expected to include between ten (10) and fourteen (14) boats and the magnitude of this procurement is expected to be over $25,000. A site visit to allow for inspection of the fleet of boats is scheduled to occur on or around January 18, 2012.
