- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for a 48 chamber stainlesssteel or Aluminum and is approximately 36 deep. The chamber will be of a verticalcylinder orientation. Chamber has quantity of 4 ISO 630k ports installed at 90 degreesto each other and 4 ISO 200 ports located as shown on drawings. The alloy and finish isto be the best value that is consistent with vacuum operations down to low 10-6 torr. Pumping speed is not a high priority so high polish is not required.The full chamber assembly will include a base plate, a lid, and a stand. The base plateis attached with bolts, o-ring sealed and has 9 tapped blind holes for internal fixturemounting. The lid can be flat as drawn or convex to reduce material and weight. The lidwill be o-ring sealed, positioned by pins and have 3 taped holes for lifting eyes. Thestand will be constructed of painted general purpose steel angle material with adjustableleveling feet, as defined by drawing title Beam Line Chamber_Stand dtd 9/21/11.The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC _2005_-54The NAICS Code for this procurement are 332420. The offeror shall state in their offertheir size status for this procurement.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.Delivery to NASAs GSFC is required within 12 weeks or less ARO. Delivery shall be FOBDestination.Offers for the items(s) described above are due by January 17, 2012 2:30PM EST via emailto tamika.r.seaforth@nasa.gov and must include, solicitation number, FOB destination tothis Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (ifapplicable), estimated shipping costs as a seperate line item, taxpayer identificationnumber (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by anauthorized company representative.
