- 5996-01-595-5830EW; P/N: M211-6000-9; NOUN: Radio Frequency Amplifiers; Qty: 10 Each with an option to purchase up to 20 additional aplifiers within 365 days after award; End Item: B-52, ALR-20. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis with SRC (Cage Code: 0D5A6) due to inadequate data for competition purposes. This amplifier is 8 Ins in length; 2 ins wide, 4 ins high and it weights 1.2 lbs. The predominant material of mfg of this amplifier is aluminum alloy, cables and power supply. Function is RF Amplifier; The RFP will be issued on 20 Jan 2012; The Required delivery is 10 months ARO; A Definitive C Type Contract Award is contemplated; The approximate length of the contract period is 365 days due to the option. Applicable Numbered Notes: 22, 26 All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
