- SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION FOR NON-COMPETITIVE AWARD The USMMA intends to make a sole source fixed price award on 1/23/12 in the amount of $39,094 for engineering textbooks to the McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. dba McGraw-Hill Professional Book Group. The mailing address is the McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. 148 Princeton-Hightstown Road, S-1 attention: Mark Trosino Hightstown, NJ 08520. This is a notice of intent and there is no solicitation or RFQ available for this requirement. The textbooks are needed NLT 2/24/12. Titles and quantities are as follows: •1. Basics of Engineering Economy (1e) 40 each ISBN 978-007-340-1294 •2. Fundamentals of Electric Circuits (4e) 20 each ISBN 978-007-726-3195 •3. Mechanical Engineering Design (9e) 48 each ISBN 978-007-352-9288 •4. Mechanics of Materials (6e) 82 each ISBN 978-007-338-0285 •5. Technical Graphics Communication (4e) ISBN 978-007-312-8375 Applicable PSC is 7610, NAICS is 511130 Book Publishers, size standard is 500 employees. In accordance with the Competition in Contracting Act, 41 USC 253 [c] [1], as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, other than full and open competition is authorized when there is only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. Any interested party that feels that they can satisfy this requirement must identify their interest, experience and capability by submitting an e-mail to paderd@usmma.edu no later than 5 business days after the posted date of this announcement. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration database (CCR).
