- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. It is being issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) P12PS10770. The National Park Service, Devils Tower National Monument, has a requirement to replace eight exterior doors, six storm doors, and 36 windows per the following Statement of Work. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside; the National Park Service encourages the participation of veteran, disadvantaged and women owned business enterprises. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 444110 with a size standard of $35.5 million or 444190 with a size standard of $19.0 million. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the National Park Service. (Quoted price is to be F.O.B. Devils Tower National Monument, Hwy 110, Devils Tower, WY 82714.) Delivery is required within 30 days of contract award. QUOTES ARE DUE on February 2, 2012 at 1:30 PM Mountain Time and shall be delivered by the specified time to the National Park Service, Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area. Quotes may be mailed to the contracting office address listed above, faxed to 406-666-2415 or emailed to Jay_Tobin@nps.gov; no oral quotations will be accepted. Quoters must furnish their company name, DUNS number, address, phone and fax number, email address, and official point of contact. All quotes must be signed by authorized company official and dated. All questions regarding this solicitation should be directed to Jay_Tobin@nps.gov. Offers will be evaluated on the basis of lowest priced, technically acceptable offer, with technical acceptance being based on evaluation of the technical information provided with the offer. Any award resulting from this solicitation will be a Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. STATEMENT OF WORK EXTERIOR DOORS: steel, insulated, pre-hung for 2 x 4 construction. Primed door, jamb and brick mould, US4 hinges, bored for lockset, no dead bolt, weather stripping. Where glass is specified it must be Energy Star rated for the Northern Zone.- One, 32" W x 80" H, half lite, two panel bottom decoration, right swing - One, 32" W x 80" H, solid, right swing - Two, 32" W x 80" H, half lite, two panel bottom decoration, left swing - Two, 30" W x 80" H, half lite, two panel bottom decoration, right swing - One, 30" W x 80" H, full lite, right swing - One, 30" W x 80" H, solid, right swing STORM DOORS: aluminum clad, self- storing glass and screen, interchangeable swing; all hardware for operation. - Three, 32" W, half lite, two panel bottom decoration, color sandstone - Two, 30" W, half lite, two panel bottom decoration, color white - One, 30" W, full lite, color sandstone WINDOWS: In order to maintain consistent exterior appearance among park buildings, windows shall be Anderson or equivalent, meeting the following requirements: Fibrex (or comparable) composite frame for 2 x 4 construction, single hung, half screen, single lock, 1-3/8 set-back, argon filled, fixed/ active, standard colonial,.54 visible transmittance, Energy Star rated for the Northern Zone, color - exterior sandstone (or comparable) and interior white.- Four, 23" W x 49" H - Sixteen, 32" W x 60" H - Six, 30" W x 42" H- Eight, 30" W x 50" H- Two, fixed unit, 36" W x 50" H Note: the above dimensions are window measurements, NOT rough openings.
