Description
DRAFT MTF Sample IMFE Approach DRAFT Informational Data Only DRAFT PWS DRAFT Solicitation THIS IS A DRAFT REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) for Hospital Aseptic Management Services (HAMS) requirement. This DRAFT RFP announcement is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) and the Government is not committed to award a contract pursuant to this announcement and should not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The HAMS requirement is a non-personal service providing certified medical housekeepers, and janitorial custodians to implement the United States Air Force (USAF) HAMS services at USAF Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) throughout the Continental United States (CONUS). This program provides for aseptic cleaning, protection, and beautification of all rooms and areas identified for coverage at a particular installation to maintain a level of asepsis commensurate with the use of the facility, rooms, and areas. The three general requirements for aseptic management are: 1) aseptic cleaning, which is the removal of soil from surfaces; 2) protection, which is preventing damage to surfaces and equipment caused by normal use or improper cleaning procedures; and 3) beautification which is accomplished through aseptic cleaning and protection to provide a beneficial psychologically impression as it boosts patient, staff, and visitor morale. The intention of this DRAFT RFP is to convey information to potential Offerors. This DRAFT RFP contains Section B; Section L and Section M evaluation criteria which includes a Sample Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) Individual Medical Facility Exhibit (IMFE) approach; and a Performance Work Statement (PWS). Additionally, provided in this notification as INFORMATIONAL DATA ONLY, potential Offerors will find data specific to number of deliveries, occupied bed days, authorized beds, and operating room cases. This data is not to be construed for use in developing a cost proposal, but only to identify potential cost drives for cost per square foot. The 773rd Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (773 ESS/PK) is seeking questions comments, and concerns from interested parties. Please provide your input no later than (NLT) 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST), 24 January 2012 to cynthia.lattimore@us.af.mil and sharon.bickford@us.af.mil
