- RFP SB1341-12-RP-0004 THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. The requirement is for commercial Information Technology (IT) Research Services, specifically Usability & Security Services for the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. The primary standard classification NAICS code is 541720- Research and development in the social sciences and humanities, with a small business size standard of $7 million. NIST intends on awarding one Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract as a result of this Request for Proposals (RFP). This RFP is being competed using FAR Part 12 and 15 procedures. Offerors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov, in order to be eligible to receive a contract under this acquisition. The ceiling amount of the resultant IDIQ contract will be $5,500,000.00. The attached RFP document provides all applicable details for this solicitation and is the official solicitation document. Potential Offerors will be responsible for obtaining this solicitation and related Amendments, if any, from www.fbo.gov. It is, and will continue to be, the responsibility of each potential Offeror to monitor www.fbo.gov for any amendments or other information related to the solicitation; the Government will not be maintaining a mailing list.
