THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). NO SOLICITATION IS BEING ISSUED AT THIS TIME. THIS NOTICE SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION OR ULTIMATELY AWARD A CONTRACT, NOR DOES IT RESTRICT THE GOVERNMENT TO A PARTICULAR ACQUISITION APPROACH. ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED TO THE GOVERNMENT AS A RESULT OF THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS VOLUNTARY. RESPONSES WILL NOT BE RETURNED. NO ENTITLEMENT TO PAYMENT OF DIRECT OR INDIRECT COSTS OR CHARGES BY THE GOVERNMENT WILL ARISE AS A RESULT OF CONTRACTOR SUBMISSION OF RESPONSES OR THE GOVERNMENT'S USE OF SUCH INFORMATION. This Sources Sought Notice is for planning purposes only. This requirement is for cradle-to-grave acquisition and contract administration support for the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS), physical location of where the services will be performed from - New Orleans, LA. Areas that will require support include but are not limited to the following: Source Selection, Contract Management, Delivery Orders, Modifications, and Contract Closeout. The work performed shall conform with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation (VAAR). Contractor personnel should be familiar with the software The Automated Acquisition Management Solution/Electronic Contract Management System (AAMS/e-CMS) and have the knowledge, skills and experience equivalent to FAC-C Level I or II. The potential period of performance for this project shall not exceed four (4) years. INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION After review of the above information, interested parties may submit a response in an electronic format only via email to shrylin.lewis@va.gov not later than February 2nd, 2012 3:00 pm CST. Electronic files should be in Microsoft Word or PDF format. ALL INFORMATION SHOULD BE UNCLASSIFIED MATERIAL ONLY. Respondents should include as part of their submission: a.A synopsis of the company's capabilities to provide qualified contracting support personnel on company letterhead. b.A synopsis of past federal work experience. Please include agency name and point of contact. c.Company point of contact telephone number and email address. d.Socioeconomic status Any company proprietary information must be marked as such. The total number of pages for the response is limited to 10 one-sided 8 ½ x 11 pages with one inch margins and font no smaller than 12 point.
