Description
FedBizOpps PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The South Texas Veterans Health Care Systems (STVHCS) Contracting Office (90C) at Kerrville, Texas; Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed- Price (FFP) Construction Contract for remodeling of Primary Care Phase 2 First Floor of Bldg 11, Project 671A4-12-801, at the STVHCS Department of Veterans Affairs, Kerrville, TX VAMC, 3600 Memorial Blvd, Kerrville, Texas, 78028. The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, and materials, equipment and supervision to paint all treatment rooms and ha11ways, replace ceiling tile and grid, replace and stain all doors, replace all flooring, create barriers for HIPPA compliance within Primary Care, remove doors and build new walls to facilitate new Primary Care Model, remodel Admissions area to facilitate new work and space requirements for Primary Care. This entire Project period of performance is 240 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed (NTP). The method of procurement shall be a Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with Parts 14 and 36 of the FAR, with an estimated solicitation release date of on or after February 6, 2012 and a proposed due date on or before March 8, 2012. The VA reserves the right to use only Federal Business Opportunities/FedBizOpps (FBO) website - www.fbo.gov via the internet, to provide notification of any amendments to this requirement and to post the subsequent IFB solicitation. It is the contractor's responsibility to view the FBO website daily for any amendments to this requirement and to obtain the IFB. This procurement is a competitive offer and the solicitation will be advertised as a 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), under Public Law 109-461 (38 USC 8127), offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable NACIS Codes for this requirement are 236220, with a size standard of $33.5 Million. Probable COST RANGE MAGNITUDE: More than $250,000.00 and Less than $500,000.00
