Description
Synopsis:This is a Sources Sought Synopsis for the purpose of conducting market research and obtaining industry information only. The National Park Service will use information obtained through this synopsis to develop an acquisition strategy. Proposals are NOT being requested nor accepted at this time. Yellowstone National Park is seeking sources for on-site employee health screenings. The provider will be responsible for supplying all personnel and medical testing equipment to carry out the health screening and provide on-site testing by a registered clinician to each individual participant. Health screenings shall, at a minimum, include (according to industry standards): * Body in Balance-checks body position and posture, flexibility, strength and balance* blood pressure* blood sugar* bone density-screening using a heel bone density device* COPD-lung function screening measures the amount (volume) and/or speed (flow) of air that can be inhaled and exhaled* body fat-skin, muscle and fat thickness measured* body mass index (BMI)- determined using height, weight and waist measurement * Type II diabetes-blood draw, fasting blood glucose test* cholesterol (TC, HDL, LDL & triglyceride)-blood draw* thyroid (TSH) function-blood draw* kidney function (BUN and Creatinine)-blood draw* liver function (ALT)-blood draw* hematocrit-blood draw Screenings shall take place in Mammoth Hot Springs, Wyoming 82190 in early April for approximately 75 National Park Service employees. Additional screening dates and locations may be conducted in June and/or July for an additional 340 employees if the initial screenings result in positive employee and management staff responses and the requirements of the screenings are completely fulfilled. The provider shall supply the following:a) Educational materials on each screening topicb) Confidential Health Assessment Questionnairec) Personal Wellness Reportd) Executive Summary Report All travel to and from Yellowstone National Park will be the responsibility of the provider. All work shall be accomplished by stand-alone IT equipment due to the remoteness of the location(s) the screenings will be conducted in.
