Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Neany, Inc. 44010 Commerce Avenue Ste. A Hollywood, MD 20636 for a modification to extend a sole source contract for one (1) month to provide Persistent Ground Surveillance System (PGSS) Operator Support and logistics for the Naval Air Systems Command 4.5x Special Surveillance Programs (SSP). The contractor shall provide equipment for the PGSS Forward Operating Bases (FOBs) throughout Afghanistan. The goal of this effort is to provide the warfighter with continuing operator support and logistics PGSS. The contractor shall integrate and test PGSS and Persistent Ground Surveillance Tower (PGST) system modifications, provide training for PGSS instructors and operators, and provide logistic and deployment support to include ancillary equipment. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 for a period of one month to allow for transition to competitive procurments for these requirements. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received within 15 days of publication of this notice.
