Description

Special Notice: The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS) is awarding a Purchase Order for the purchase of 25 each Calibration Kits, Visibility, Belfort P/N 32339 to Belfort Instrument Company. The calibration kit is specifically manufactured by Belfort Instrument for the National Weather Service (NWS). The Government does not have the design rights of the manufacturer's drawings for this part. Any redesign and remanufacturing costs could not be recovered by using competitive processes. The proposed contract action was issued as a sources sought notice that was posted on FedBizOpps under NWWA12001253004KLC on November 15, 2011, that resulted in no responses to the notice. An award was issued to Belfort Instrument Company.
