- Description
- The purpose of this contract is to secure a complete set of services to accomplish stand treatments for a variety of forest health and fuels issues. The contractor shall cut, and in some units remove Products other than Logs (POL). The project contains 4 Base Bid items in 7 work units totaling 911 acres, and 2 Optional items containing 2 work units totaling an additional 421 acres. The Contractor shall furnish all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, permits, licenses and incidentals necessary to complete the work required. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation, AG-82X9-S-12-0031, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request For Proposal (RFP), resulting in a Firm Fixed Price contract. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 115310. The solicitation will be available for downloading on or about February 16, 2012, at the website address: http://www.fbo.gov/. NOTE: THIS IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. A Pre-Proposal Visit date will be included in the solicitation. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. A handbook and other information are available at the site, including information on how to obtain a DUNS number, which is required to begin the registration process. Vendors are required to register at the Online Representations and Certifications website (ORCA); registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.bpn.gov.
