Description
M-CWCT Sources Sought This Sources Sought Synopsis is being issued to assist the Air Force Electronic Systems Center (ESC) Tactical Data Links Branch (HNAB) in determining industry's interest and capability in satisfying the requirements to improve upon the Government's existing Common Data Link (CDL) Waveform testing capability. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought is strictly voluntary. The Government is seeking to procure portable test stations that are fully capable of reporting on a CDL terminal's compliance with CDL waveform specifications beyond those defined in Standard CDL (STD-CDL) waveforms. CDL waveforms are specifically being developed for supporting higher capacity data links and are Net-Centric Internet Protocol (IP) capable. Government test organizations require portable and modular test equipment for determining if CDL Terminals containing one or more of a family of CDL waveforms and acting as either Unit Under Test (UUT) or in a System Under Test (SUT) configuration are compliant with CDL waveform specifications. The M-CWCT will be used to ensure CDL systems are capable of providing seamless real-time connectivity/interoperability between multiple Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) collection platforms. Department of Defense (DoD) Instruction Number 4630.09, dated 3 November 2008 with the Subject: Wireless Communications Waveform Development and Management contains a description of the CDL waveforms of interest as well as key CDL waveform parameters that will be considered for verification in a compliance test scenarios performed by a M-CWCT.
