Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), Hampton Virginia has an immediate need for an On-Call Computerized Tomography (CT) Technologist to perform on-call CT examinations. These examinations include but are not limited to head, neck, spine, chest and extremities including computerized tomography angiograms of the chest and abdomen. These exams are performed with and without the use of contrast material. Services shall be provided for twenty six weeks (services to be performed every other week) to include federal holidays. On- call hours will be Monday 7:00pm through Monday 7:00am. All unscheduled call hours will be on an as-needed basis Monday through Friday 4:30pm through 7:00am. The contract technologist will be required to work on any federal holiday when it falls within their week of call. It is required that the contractor provide a primary CT Technologist, a minimum of two secondary CT Technologist and an alternate Technologist to support the contract requirement. The VAMC is currently using the GE Light Speed 16 slice scanner. The NAICS code for this procurement will be 561320. This is a sources sought notice only. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address of company; business size (large or small); identify whether or not firm falls into any of the socioeconomic categories and any pertinent information which demonstrates firms ™ ability to meet the above requirement.
