- The Mid-Atlantic Healthcare Network, VISN 6 Centralized Acquisition Service, In Support of 8 VA Medical Centers and 2 Community Base Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) within VISN 6, is seeking potential sources capable of providing all necessary labor, tools, equipment, materials and supervision to conduct a wall-to-wall pharmacy inventory for each of the 10 VA facility pharmacy's located in the cities of Asheville, NC, Durham, NC, Fayetteville, NC, Salisbury, NC, Winston-Salem, NC (CBOC), Charlotte, NC (CBOC), Richmond, VA, Hampton, VA, Salem, VA, and Beckley, WV. All contractor personnel to be utilized in the performance of this contract must be U.S. citizens and must have passed a drug test within the last year. Drug test results must be provided at time of award or be submitted with proposal. The contractor must adhere to all VA security requirements. Note that the inventory services shall be performed in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, commercial standards, and JCAHO requirements. The inventory shall take place during the working hours of 08:00am to 4:30pm, Mon. thru Fri. or as determined by each facility site Chief of Pharmacy. The NAICS code is 561990/size standards is $7.0M. Period of performance will be from date of award through March 02, 2012, with one option year period to perform the same service on or about the same time frame in 2013, to be exercised at the Government's discretion. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Response to the sources sought notice should include the following: name and address of company; business size (large or small); identify whether or not firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories - 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned; firm's experience in providing wall-to-wall pharmacy inventory service for pharmacy facilities in a professional hospital, clinical or medical setting and any other pertinent information, which demonstrates ability to meet the above requirement.
