- This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. Naval Medical Research Cetner (NMRC) intents to solicits a proposals and enter into a contract with Invitrogen. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) per FAR 6.302-1(c). The NAICS code for this 325413. Naval Medical Research Center required that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR, please access the following website: http://www.ccr.gov/. In order to register with the CCR and to be elligible to receive and award from this acquisition office, all offerors must had a Dun & Bradstreet number maybe acquired free of charge by contacting Dun & Bradstreet on-line at https://www.dnb.com/product/eupdate/requestOptions.html or by phone at (800) 333-0505. The notice of intent is not a request for competetive proposals. However, the Government shall consider all response received within 15 days fromt his posting. Written responses to this shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. A solicitation is not available.
