Description

Reverse Osmosis Desalination Plant, Dated January 17, 2012 THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is EA-133M-RQ-12-0082. This synopsis/solicitation constitutes a RFQ and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-55. The RFQ is set aside for small business. The associated North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 333319, which has a size standard of 500 employees. The U.S. Dept of Commerce, NOAA Ship Ronald H. Brown has a requirement for a reverse osmosis desalination plant in accordance with the attached Specifications. 0001, Provide 4800 Gallon/Day Reverse Osmosis Desalinating Water Plant in accordance with the attached specifications, 1 Each, $ _______________ 0002, Provide Recommended Spare Parts Kit, 1 Set, $ ________________ 0003, Tech Rep to visit Charleston, SC for Unit Commissioning after install by shipyard. Estimated 2 days on site, 1 Job, $ _____________ 0004, Shipping, 1 Each $ _______________ The Detail Specifications entitled "Reverse Osmosis Desalination Plant", dated January 17, 2012 is hereby incorporated by reference and provided as an attachment to this RFQ. The Required delivery date is March 16, 2012. The unit shall be delivered to NOAA Ship Ronald Brown, 1050 Register Street, Charleston, SC 29405-2421. Vendors shall include a completed copy of its representations and certifications at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items (NOV 2011), with its quote. [An offeror shall complete only paragraph (b) of this provision if the offeror has completed the annual representations and certificates electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov.
