- This Amendment to the Pre-Solicitation is issued to: 1. Extend the anticipated date that the RFP(G12PS00055) will be available to on or about February 17, 2012. 2. The Government does intend to use Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12 in conjunction with FAR Part 15. The U.S. Geological Survey, Crustal Geochemistry Science Center has a requirement for conducting helicopter aeromagnetic survey in Mammoth Lakes, California. The contractor will be required to provide digitally recorded and processed aeromagnetic data. The requirement is for a minimum of 1718 line miles, with up to an additional 6639 line miles. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Lakewood, Colorado. Telephone request for the RFP will not be accepted. It is anticipated that RFP(G12PS00055) will be available on or about January 30, 2012 at the following web address: https://www.fedconnect.net. No hard copies of the solicitation will be available. An original plus three (3) written copies of the proposal will be requested. No Electronic Commerce (EC) proposals. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this project is 541360. The services/supplies described herein are Commercial Item. This requirement is not set-aside for small business.
