- Draft AA&S PWS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. This request is an announcement for information/market research for planning purposes. The synopsis does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, invitation for bid nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center PKO, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico, is seeking potential sources to provide: Advisory and assistance services in accordance with the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) to support the Air Force Inspection Agency, Kirtland AFB NM, 87117-5606, in planning and executing an inspection of large-scale combat-related mortuary services within the Air Force. Contractor shall provide expertise in embalming, dress and restoration processes and procedures as they apply to disaster or mass-casualty environments for the purpose of planning and helping conduct an effective and accurate inspection of Air Force mortuary services. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPORSALS (RFP). Firms responding to this announcement should include company name, cage code, point of contact, address and indicate whether they are a small business, 8(a) concern, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, or women-owned small business. For the purposes of being considered a small business, the following applies: NAICS Code 541690, Size Standard $7.0 million. The Government reserves the right to set-aside any subsequent acquisition based upon known sources and/or responses to this synopsis.
