Description
SINGAPORE FOOD SERVICES SOLICITATION The 36th Contracting Squadron has a requirement for the provision of food services (Western/American diet and style) at Paya Lebar Air Base (AB) and in Sembawang, Singapore. The provision of food services will be required on 3 specific occasions per year, for between 21 - 30 consecutive days per occasion. The following information is illustrative of the current food services provided and shall not limit potential operators as to their business plan. (a) The food service requirement at Paya Lebar consist of providing (a) a buffet-style hot lunch served in the existing cafeteria area at Paya Lebar (seating capacity approximately 80); and (b) the preparation and delivery of flight meals (boxed lunches), which typically consist of a sandwich, fruits, vegetables, a candy bar, and a beverage. The flight, when ordered by authorized patrons, will be delivered to locations at Paya Lebar only, to include Hangar 3, building 2, and the passenger terminal. There are no cooking facilities or cooking equipment at the Paya Lebar cafeteria. Food must be prepared at a different location, transported to Paya Lebar, and served at he Paya Lebar Cafeteria; (b) The food service requirement at Sembawang consists of (a) providing a site/location/facility within a ½ mile radius of Durban Road; and (b) preparing and serving hot breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, both ala carte and buffet-style, at that site/location/facility. The estimated number of diners for each meal period will range from 45 - 90. The food service provider will be required to acquire/provide the site/location/facility and perform all facility maintenance, including clean-up, pest control, and rubbish disposal. NOTE: The successful offeror may be asked by the 497th Commander to provide food services for local air shows and special community events that the 497th Commander is required to facilitate. These additional requirements are not part of this solicitation, nor will they be included as part of the successful offeror's responsibilities under the ensuing contract. This information is provided to make prospective offerors aware of other potential opportunities.
