- This contract is for the removal, transportation and disposal of hazardous waste from California National Guard sites. The contract is a firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The solicitation was released as full and open using the tiered evaluation approach which are as follows: (1) If offers are not received frmo at least two eligible, responsive, responsible 8(a) firms at a fair market price, in accordance with FAR 19.805-1(a)(1), DLA Disposition Services will proceed to the next tier. (2) DLA Disposition Services will then consider offers from at least two eligible, responsive, responsible Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Smal Businesses with fair market prices. If that is not possible, DLA Disposition Services will proceed to the next tier. (3) The next tier will be two or more eligible Small Businesses, All offers will be evaluated in accordance with solicitation provision DLA Disposition Services 52.215-9R13 Evaluation Factors for Small Business Set-Aside Award. The contract has an 18-month Base period and (2) 18 month options. The contractor must be able to meet all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations governing the handling, disposal, and transportation of various types of hazardous and non-hazardous waste material and comply with environmental protection laws.
