- NASA/Kennedy Space Center (KSC) intends to issue a sole-source Request for Quote(RFQ) of a renewal license of existing Delmia License support from Dassault SystemsAmericas Corp, 900 Chelmsford St., Tower 2, Floor 5, Lowell, MA 01851.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.The intended contract action is for the acquisition of annual maintenance on existingseats of Delmia Envision software currently owned and utilized by NASA/KSC. The DesignVisualization Lab uses the Delmia Envision software as its primary simulation tool;therefore, annual maintenance on the current seats will allow the laboratory staff toobtain product updates, patches, and security fixes that is associated with the DelmiaEnvision software.NASA/KSC intends to purchase the following items:(1) Dassault PN: CAA, C++ Extended Development Configuration;(2) Dassault PN: EA2, Envision Assembly 2 Configuration, Estimated Quantity: 4;(3) Dassault PN: MHA, Human Activity Analysis 2 Product, Estimated Quantity: 3;(4) Dassault PN: MHB, Human Builder 2 Product, Estimated Quantity: 3;(5) Dassault PN: MHT, Human Task Simulation 2 Product, Estimated Quantity: 3;(6) Dassault PN: MOP, DMU Optimizer 2 Product, Estimated Quantity: 2;(7) Dassault PN: MTP, MULTICAx Step Plugin Product, Estimated Quantity: 2;(8) Dassault PN: PDP, MULTICAx PD Plugin Product, Estimated Quantity: 2;(9) Dassault PN: Service, Advantage Support.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 7:00 am local time onFebruary 21, 2012. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for thepurpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the Government.
