- Statemet of Work This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Submit only written quotations for RFQ F1U3C51287A001. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-55. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Total Small Business. The associated NAICS code is 811310 with a $7.0 million size standard. This RFQ contains 1 line item. The line item description is as follows: CLIN 0001 Inspect and Repair the east well pump for the Central Heat and Power Plant at Eielson AFB, AK. Qty: 1 EACH. Please see the attached Statement of Work. The required delivery date is 30 days ADC. A site visit is scheduled for 16 February, 2012. The site visit will start at the 354 Contracting Squadron conference room, 2310 Central Ave., 3rd Floor Room 315, at Eielson AFB, AK. Interested vendors wishing to attend the site visit shall contact the solicitation POC no later than 14 February, 2012, at 1500 AST to state that they intend to attend the site visit. Interested vendors attending the site visit should arrive slightly early to ensure they attend with the group. Once assembled, the site visit group will depart for the site located on base. No other organized site visit will be offered for this solicitation. All questions must be in writing 1 business day after the site visit has been conducted. PROVISIONS/CLAUSES. Award will be made to the responsible offeror who's quote/offer represents the best value in terms of technical (capability of item(s) offered to meet the government need), price, and past performance, which will be most advantageous to the government.
