- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is RFQP01131200008 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-55. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333312 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is a Small Business set-aside, and only qualified offerors may submit bids. Bids/Quotes will be accepted on the day this solicitation is posted and will end on Monday February 13, 2012 at 4:00 PM Eastern Time. Bids/Quotes should be mailed, faxed, or e-mailed to the Federal Correctional Institution in Morgantown, WV, ATTN: Contract Specialist, P.O. Box 1000, Morgantown, WV 26507. Fax number (304) 284-3634, e-mail address bpurkey@bop.gov. Bids/Quotes may also be hand carried to FCI Morgantown, 446 Greenbag Road, Morgantown, WV 26501. Questions may be sent to the e-mail address listed above, or via phone (304) 284-4323. The Federal Bureau of Prisons requires a vendor to match, meet, or exceed the following items: 01. 2 Unimac 125lb Capacity Washers, Unilinc 41 Cycle Control, 480 Volt 3 Phase, White, with Warranty. 02. Installation: Set in place, bolt down and grout, tech start up. 03. Freight: Shipping to 446 Greenbag Road, Morgantown, WV 26501. New equipment only; no remanufactured or "grey market" items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Bid must be good for 30 calendar days after close of buy. The Government will award to the responsible offeror whose offer is considered to be the best value to the Government. Offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database before an award can be made to them. If the offeror is not registered in the CCR, it may do so through the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov. Each offeror is required per FAR 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at www.orca.bpn.gov. Faith based and Community based organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated award date is February 14, 2012.
