- The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, supervision and quality control for Project 614-12-102 'Replace Mechanical Equipment and Motors at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Memphis, TN. Work includes general construction. alterations, and necessary removal of existing construction and certain other items. Construction cost range is between $500.000-$1,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) is 236220. Bid Bond is required. After award of contract, performance and payment bonds will be required. This procurement is a 100% total setaside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). To be eligible for award, the SDVOSB must be registered and CVE verified in VetBiz Registry www.vetbiz.gov. NO EXCEPTIONS The SDVOSB must be registered in the following websites:www.ccr.gov, www.vets100.dol.gov, www.orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation will be posted to fedbizopps o/a FEBRUARY 23, 2012. Bids are due thirty (30) days after solicitation is officialy posted on the website. Interested bidders may download the entire solicitation including specifications, and drawings. Amendments to this solicitation will also be posted to this website. In order to receive e-mail notification of amendments, bidders must register in www.fedbizopps.gov to Receive Amendments . All bidders are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments prior to bid date established. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE - THE SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED ON/AFTER February 23, 2012. BID DUE DATE IS 30 DAYS AFTER SOLICITATION IS ISSUED. The date and time of the Pre-Bid Meeting will be announced in the solicitation. Questions regarding solicitation, drawings and specifications must be submitted in writing to the contracting officer: Phyllis.Holder@va.gov The deadline for receipt of questions regarding the solicitation is 12 days prior to bid opening.
