- Engineering Technical Letter (ETL) 12-4 Light Emitting Diode (LED) Technical Specifications List of Required Fixtures by Location THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. This proposed contract is being considered as a set-aside under a small business set-aside program. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed for the requirement is 335129. The size standard for NAICS 335129 is 500 employees. The government is interested in all small businesses including 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses that are interested in performing this requirement. The government requests interested parties submit a brief description of their company's business size (i.e. annual revenues and employee size); business status (i.e., 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Women Owned Small Business or small business) anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. The Government will use this information in determining its small business set-aside decision. Provide the company's cage code and DUNS. The 21st Contracting Squadron is searching for vendors that can provide replacement fixtures for street and parking lot lighting using Light Emitting Diode (LED) type luminaries at multiple Air Force Installations. Attached are the following: Attachment 1: AFSPC Proposed LED Project Requirements Attachment 2: AFSPC LED Technology Technical Specification Information Attachment 3: Engineer Technical Letter (ETL) Market research is being conducted to determine interest, capability, and socio-economic category of potential sources for the requirement. Please address at a minimum the following in your response: 1. Is the company the manufacturer of these items? 2. What is your company's average timeframe to manufacture/deliver the required items? 3. Do your exterior lighting fixtures come with integral glass lenses with UV coating? 4. Does your company have or require an authorized/certified installer? 5. A description of the standard warranty, including the availability of onsite support and the validity of the warranty if items are installed by a third party. 6. The ability to provide modeling for the lighting system using AGI-32 or equivalent. 7. The ability to provide all the items in this requirement. 8. Does your LED fixture offer internal 3-prong twist-lock photo cell receptacle and if so do you provide long life LED designed photocell? 9. Is a single 480 volt driver available for your fixtures? This notice is to help in determining potential sources only. No solicitation is currently available. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for a contract award. If a solicitation is issued, it will be posted later at https://www.fbo.gov and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. A response to this sources sought synopsis is NOT a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. All information received in response to this announcement that is marked "Proprietary" will be handled accordingly.
