Description

In accordance with FAR subpart 6.3 - Other Than Full and Open Competition, the Department of Veterans Affairs, Sioux Falls, SD intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Johnson Controls, Inc. to provide a system upgrade to the existing fire alarm system. Due to the proprietary characteristics of the currently existing system, it has been determined that only Johnson Controls will be able to perform the necessary upgrades to the fire alarm system. The award will be issued as a firm-fixed-price contract under authority of FAR 6.302-5 and in accordance with FAR Part 19.1406. Estimated cost range of the project is between $100,000 to $250,000. This notice is not a request for proposals. No solicitation will be issued and proposals will not be accepted.
