- The Department of Veterans Affairs is in need for Mobile mammography service. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to issue a solicitation for Mobile mammography service and the solicitation will be issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and (FAR) Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The NACIS code is 621512Size Standard is 13.5M. The solicitation will contain a Statement of Objective (SOO).The scope of the acquisition is to: furnish all equipment, facility, professional and technical personnel services to provide the technical component of Mobile Full Field Digital Screening Mammography Services with an Option to provide the technical component of Mobile Bone Density (DEXA) Scans to veteran beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 6. These services shall be performed at locations throughout the Network. Locations include: Asheville VA Medical Center; Beckley VA Medical Center; Greenville CBOC; Morehead City CBOC; Hamlet CBOC; Jacksonville CBOC; Wilmington CBOC; Virginia Beach CBOC; Fredericksburg CBOC; Charlottesville CBOC; Emporia CBOC; Charlotte CBOC; Hickory CBOC; Winston-Salem CBOC and Winston-Salem Clinic Annex CBOC.
