Description
This is a Sources Sought notice only and is for information and planning purposes. This is NOT a Solicitation Announcement. The purpose of this Sources Sought is market research to acquire information of potential qualified sources to provide a maintenance service agreement for water deionization/purification systems. The VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System has a requirement for a maintenance service agreement on four ( 4 ) each water deionization systems manufactured by Siemens Water Technologies. Two ( 2 ) of the deionization systems have linked water purification machines, a Pure Lab Ultra and a Labo Star Bench Top. This would be a full-service agreement with periodic checks, services, inspections, emergency repair and service provisions, itemized report of parts and services on each service call and replacement of parts, filters and associated consumable materials. The service agreement shall include provisions for original equipment manufacturer, OEM, product upgrades and services. The contractor will develop the matrix list of tasks, performance schedule and task evaluation criteria to document satisfactory quality assurance surveillance plan. The service agreement must inspect, test, calibrate, repair and service the deionization systems in accordance with the manufacturer, industry and statutory requirements to ensure the water deionization and purification is within the required water quality standard and ensure operational reliability of the deionization systems. The contractor shall determine the performance schedule appropriate for the water usage and demand. The proposal must have a detailed itemized list of tasks with prices. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, transportation and technician certifications. The deionization systems are located at the Denver VA Medical Center 1055 Clermont St, Denver, CO. 80229 The North American Industry Classification System, NAICS, code for this requirement is 221310, Water Supply & Irrigation Systems, with a small business size standard of $7.0 million.
