Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Radix Biosolutions, 111 Cooperative Way, Suite 120, Georgetown, TX 78626, for Ricin components differentiation assay kits with reagents sufficient to analyze 96 wells (total 80); Ricin RCA60 kits which reagents sufficient to analyze 96 wells (total 24), and training on the kits to be held at CDCs site. These kits were developed by Radix at the request of the Department of Homeland Security. DHS has requested that CDC procure these kits for further valication and characterization to assure optimium performance. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This procurement is not set-aside for small business. For contractual questions contact Linda M.
