Description

Construction Project: This is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside for fence work at the Southern Arizona Veterans Health Care System (SAVAHCS). Contractor shall provide all necessary supervision, labor, materials, tools, and equipment to prep and construct AJO Handrail Fence and Tucson State Home Fence. Work shall include general construction, fence work, and site-work. Performance Period is 60 calendar days after receiving Notice to Proceed. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about March 1, 2012, via Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to attend A Pre-Bid Conference Site Visit on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at 10:00 AM (local time) SAVAHCS, 3601 S. 6th Avenue, Building 45, Conference Room, Tucson, AZ 85723. All bidders/contractors are strongly urged to attend as there will only be ONE Pre-Bid Conference/Site Visit for this project. This is subject to change at the discretion of SAVAHCS and any change will be posted on www.fbo.gov. Contractors shall contact A.J. Davis, Contract Specialist, to indicate their interest in attending the Pre-Bid Conference/Site Visit. Requests, in the form of an e-mail message to aaron.davis@va.gov, must be received by the Contracting Specialist no later than Monday, March 12, 2012, at 2:00 PM (local time). Solicitation responses will be due in the Contracting Office no later than Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 2:00 pm local time. The bid opening will be held at SAVAHCS, 3601 S. 6th Avenue, Building 45, Conference Room, Tucson, AZ 85723. Bid submissions shall be in hardcopies. Telegraphic, email, and facsimile bids are prohibited. All bidders shall be registered and verified in the www.ccr.gov and www.vetbiz.gov and https://orca.bpn.gov/. This procurement is 100% set aside for Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned, Small Business (SDVOSB). The NAICS code is 238990. The associated size standard for this procurement is $14 million dollars in average gross annual receipts for the preceding three years. Project Magnitude: Between $25,000 and $100,000. Award is subject to availability of funding.
