- Sources Sought for Subsistence Supplies for Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, San Diego is seeking qualified sources that can provide special dietary food items to the Cafeteria at the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton. The Contractor shall provide continual delivery of special dietary food items needed to comply with restrictive and nutritional patients ™ diets. This procurement is anticipate to be a firm-fixed price requirements type contract and NAVSUP FLC San Diego anticipates issuing a solicitation with a one (1) year base period and four (4) one-year options for a total contract length of five (5) years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 424410, Small Business Size Standard is100. The DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) is attached as well as a listing of the items required. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to locate and identify qualified sources and small business sources to determine if sources exist. All Small Business Set-Aside categories will be considered. Interested sources are invited to respond to this sources sought announcement by providing a capability statement demonstrating their capabilities to deliver in accordance with the Statement of Work and the attached list or products not exceeding three (3) pages in length that summarizes relevant experience, knowledge, and capabilities consistent with the effort described and the products. Respondents shall provide information related to contracts where the respondent was materially involved at a comparable level of effort. Interested businesses are invited to respond to this source sought announcement by providing the following: 1)Statement providing the Company Name, Company Address, points of contact including name, phone number, fax number, and email address. The respondents must also provide a confirmation of current large/small business status under NAICS code 424410 as of February 14, 2012, and the date their firm was started. 2)Prior/current corporate (Past Performance) experience performing efforts of similar size and scope within the last three years, including contract number, organization supported, indication of whether as a prime or subcontractor, contract values, hours/dollars incurred to date, Government point of contact with current telephone number and email address, and a brief description of how the referenced contract relates to the services described herein. 3)The contractor ™s ability to manage, as a prime contractor, the types and magnitude of all taskings in the SOW. 4)The contractor ™s capacity, or potential approach to achieving capability, to conduct the requirements of the SOW. A determination as to whether this acquisition will be a set-aside or full and open competition will be based upon response to this notice. Interested businesses are requested to submit information statements electronically by 5:00 Pacific Standard Time Monday February 20, 2012 to the POC: Charlotte Cerkvenik, e-mail address: charlotte.cerkvenik@navy.mil in MS Word or PDF. All responses must be received by the specified date and time in order to be considered. ANY RESPONSES RECEIVED AFTER THAT DATE AND TIME WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Proprietary data will be protected when so designated. Acknowledgement of receipt will not be made. Availability of any formal solicitation will be announced separately. This is NOT a request for proposal (RFP), invitation for bid (IFB), or an announcement of a solicitation as no solicitation package exists at this time. The request is for informational purposes only. No cost data should be submitted. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this sources sought notice or any follow-up information requests. Submittals will not be returned to the sender. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. FISC-SD will utilize the information for technical and acquisition planning.
