Description
This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. This requirement is for a contract to procure Handheld Laser Marker Block II (HLM II), non-warranty failure analysis, repair, test, and provision item order (PIO) spares. HLM II consists of the following hardware configuration: Laser Marker, Power Cable, Battery Pack, Operators Manual, Boresight Target, Tactical Holster, Jump Pouch, and Shipping/Transportation Carrying Case. The ordering period is 5 years with a minimum quantity of 2 and maximum quantity of 1,175 HLM II s. The anticipated contract type is a fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity. The delivery shall be FOB destination. Initial delivery of units shall be 60 days after the issuance of a delivery order. Product samples will be requested as a part of the evaluation process. This requirement will be negotiated on a full and open competition basis in accordance with FAR 6.101, that contracting officers shall promote and provide for full and open competition in soliciting offers and awarding government contracts. Interested parties can download the solicitation from the three websites listed above. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration database. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
