Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Mid Atlantic Health Care Network (VISN 6) intends to negotiate a Sole Source commercial item services contract to AutoMed Technologies, Inc. The requirement is for Software License, maintenance and repair of the AmerisourceBergen FastFind 1200 Carousel medication dispensing system. The AutoMed System is already located at the VA Medical Center in Hampton, VA 23667. Maintenance and repair includes 24/7 telephone support, on-site service with semi-annual preventative maintenance. Contractor shall furnish all parts, labor and travel. Materials and workmanship will be guaranteed for 60 calendar days, regardless of when the contract expires. The period of performance for this requirement is April 1, 2012 through September 30, 2012. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This proposed procurement is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than February 23, 2012 4 PM EST.
