FirstArticle Requirement, Government New & Unused Surplus Materialacceptable. 3.PR# FD2030-12-70680 4.Nomenclature/Noun: Turbine Case 5.NSN: 2840-01-447-2846 PR 6.PN: 1276M30G02 7.Application: F110 Engine 8.AMC: 1C 9.History: Previously purchased spares, 22 each from GENTZ INDUSTRIES per Firm Fixcontract FA8104-07-C-0132, 28 January 2008. 10.Description: Cover for the High Pressure Turbine NozzleAssembly. 11.Dimensions: 2.83 inches wide, 29.896 to 29.900 long OD. 12.Material: Inconel 718 13.Quantity: a.Award of a Firm Fix Price contract is anticipated with aquantity of 10 each. 14.Competitive/Design control. 15.Mandatory Language: Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Only writtenor faxed request received directly from the requestors are acceptable.Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), Justification: supplies (orServices) required are available from only one source or a limitednumber of responsible sources(s) and no other type of supplies orservices will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract actionis for supplies and/or services for which the Government intends tosolicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sourcesunder the authority of FAR 6.302. The solicitation will identify theoffice where additional information can be obtained concerningqualifications requirements as cited in each individual solicitation.Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors orpotential Offerors during the proposal development phase of thisacquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish theauthority of the program director or contracting officer, but tocommunicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Whenrequested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as tosource of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in theevaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
