Description
PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT 17 February 2012 The North Atlantic Regional Contracting Office (NARCO) intends to competitively award a commercial, Non-Personal Services contract, firm-fixed price, for four full time employee Nurse Case Managers located at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC, and four full time employee Nurse Case Managers located at Ireland Army Community Hospital, Fort Knox, KY. The solicitation is restricted as a 100% Set Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, to be awarded to the lowest priced technically acceptable (LPTA) offeror. The NAICS Code is 621999 and the size standard is $10,000,000.00. The Warrior Transition Units and the Community Based Warrior Transition Unit (CBWTU) in the Northern Regional Medical Command Area of Operations (AO) have a valid and continuing requirement for Nurse Case Management Services. The contract will be awarded for a base year with four consecutive options of one-year each. The total contract potential period is five years (60 months). The estimated start date is on or about 1 April 2012. The specific responsibilities include a complete understanding of the scope of work, and how this requirement will be accomplished; from the implementation of the contract, through daily service 24/7/365. The contractor shall understand the size of the project and will provide full service, at high levels of quality, all aspects of this project, including daily Nurse Case Management responsibilities throughout the life of the contract. The contractor shall provide high quality, accurate, and timely reports. RELEASE of solicitation, W91YTZ-12-R-0005, is scheduled on or about 21 February 2012. Addendum to FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, in the solicitation will provide submission details, date for receipt of offers, and the evaluation basis.
