Description
NSWC Crane is issuing a Commercial Area Announcement (CAA) for informational purposes only as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having interest in and the resources to support the Global Discovery surveillance system. A respondent to this market survey must have available the majority of the skills and facilities that are required to provide the quantity of the following: Ruggedized 22 inch Monitor In Accordance with (IAW) the Salient Characteristics: MinimumMaximum Depth1.685 inches1.715 inches @ monitor body. If the testing does meet the actual requirement the product will be considered technically acceptable by the Government for this characteristic (test data to be owned by the Government and not releasable). Expose to shock due to drops that may occur during bench handling, bench maintenance, or packaging as defined in MIL-STD-810F, Method 516.5 Procedure VI - Bench handling The Government's market research is based on NMCARS Subpart 5212.90 and the result of the market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. THIS CAA IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. No award will be made on the basis of quotes or offers received in response to this CAA. Interested parties shall understand that responses in any form are not quotes or offers. Further, issuance of the CAA does not impose any obligation on the Department of Navy or signify a firm commitment to issue a solicitation or a contract. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. There are no funds available to pay for the cost of preparing the responses. If your organization has the potential capacity to provide a quantity of Ruggedized 22 inch Monitors IAW Salient Characteristics as stated above, please submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement (no more than 3 pages excluding the cover sheet) demonstrating ability to provide the requested items and quantities. This document shall address, as a minimum the following: (1) Provide the name and address of company, primary point of contact, email address, web site address, telephone number DUNS and CAGE code number. (2) Provide size category (large/small business, etc) and type of ownership for the organization, any known contract vehicles such as GSA, SEWP and/or CHESS Contract numbers. If you do not presently have an established contract vehicle with the Federal Government then please provide the statement “ OPEN MARKET in your CAA Response. Provide the following information as it pertains to the Ruggedized 22 inch Monitors IAW Salient Characteristics “ Manufacturer Model Lead-time Place of Manufacture General specifications and characteristics Estimated Cost Warranty FOB Destination Delivery Time THIS IS A TIME SENSITIVE COMMERCIAL AREA ANNOUNCEMENT. PLEASE IMMEDIATELY ALERT ME IF YOU CAN PROVIDE Ruggedized 22 Inch Monitors IAW Salient Characteristics UNDER SEWP/CHESS OR GSA CONTRACT VEHICLES AND PLEASE PROVIDE THE CONTRACT NUMBER.
