- REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) FOR BOONTON ELECTRONICS CORPORATION RF PEAK POWER ANALYZER The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is issuing this Request for Quote (RFQ) for 17 new RF Peak Power Analyzers to be used in the CARSR Radar System. This requirement is being issued as a Brand Name Mandatory. Only Boonton Electronics Corporation Part Number 4500B-01 is acceptable. The FAA will not accept any substitutions. Based upon market research, this RFQ is a total set-aside for small businesses. However, to be considered, your company must be registered with a DUNS number on the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) website (www.ccr.gov). The quantities and descriptions for this procurement are shown below: New Peak Power AnalyzerQuantity: Seventeen (17) Part Number: 4500B-01NSN: 6625-01-537-2708 Interested vendors should respond with the following: (1)The Boonton Electronics Corporation Part Number 4500B-01. (2)Quoted price along with any quantity (price break) discount purchases, e.g., range of 1 to 10.(3)Provide a description of the terms and conditions of warranties and the processes and procedures (for each specific manufacturer and manufacturer's part number). This information is required in order for the FAA to obtain warranty repair service, if required.(4)Complete and return the attached Business Declaration Form. The form is provided as a separate document under this announcement. The FAA reserves the right to review and verify each offeror's program eligibility. NOTE TO VENDOR: Please submit a quote (you may use your company's letterhead), incorporating the attached "Terms and Conditions Sheet" for this requirement. Terms and conditions which differ, in part or in total, from those contained in this document will not be considered nor accepted by the Government. The terms and conditions herein may only be changed as a result of price negotiations, quantity / payment discounts offered by the Vendor, or changes to delivery terms / schedule for the supplies / services required as agreed to by both parties. In these instances, the Contracting Officer shall clearly document any agreements in the contract for the benefit of both parties prior to contract award. Quotes are to be quoted FOB Destination, MMAC, Oklahoma City, 73169. Please include estimated delivery timeframe. All submitted quotes should be electronically to the following address: casey.davis@faa.gov Vendors must respond by 3:00 p.m. CST (Oklahoma Time), Friday, March 2, 2012. Responses should be submitted in a Microsoft Word document (preferred); however, portable document format (i.e..pdf file) is acceptable. The FAA will not respond to telephonic inquiries. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing responses to this RFQ. This announcement shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the FAA to acquire these products. Responders to this announcement may be asked to provide additional details/information based on their initial response. The final determination by the FAA not to open this requirement to competition, based on any information provided, is solely within the discretion of the FAA.
