- NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE DELIVERED TO YOKOTA AB JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFEROR MUST BE ABLE TO DELIVER NO MORE THAN 90 DAYS ADC TO YOKOTA AB. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, FA5209-12-T-0057, is issued as a request for quote. Submit only written offers; oral offers will not be accepted. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) http://www.bpn.gov/. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2008-55 and DFARS change notice DPN 20120130. Resultant contract will have no set-aside •1) The standard industrial classification code is 5012 Automobiles and other Vehicles, NAICS 423830, 100 employees. •2) DESCRIPTION: •a) (CLIN) 0001 (1 EA) - Forklift, Electric Battery Operated, Size/Load Cap 6,000 lbs (3,000 kg), Travel Speed 15KM hour, Lift Height 6,500 mm, Fork Size 1220 mm •3) DELIVERY: •a) FOB Destination (shipping charge must be included in product cost) to directly to Yokota AB, Fussa-shi, Tokyo Japan via commercial carrier •b) Address as follows: 374TH CIVIL ENGINEER SQ MAINT ENGIN OPS FLIGHT UNIT 5104 BLDG 838 YOKOTA AB FUSSA-SHI, TOKYO 197-0001 •4) Delivery Period: The contractor shall deliver all items by 90 Days ARO •5) The following provisions applies to this acquisition: FAR 52-212-1 Instructions to offerors-Commercial items FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial items: paragraph (a) add, The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: •1. Price: The price evaluation will be made on the basis of the total price of the item listed. •2. Technical Acceptability: Technical Acceptability is achieved as "met" when the quoted products meet the item descriptions in the Government minimum characteristic item information within CLIN 0001. •3. Delivery Schedule: Delivery date is acceptable when the offeror provides the product within the delivery schedule stated in the solicitation.. Offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial items •6) The following clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial items FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial items. Only the following FAR clauses in paragraph(b) of FAR 52.212-5 are applicable: FAR 52.204-10 Reporting Executive Compensation and First-Tier Subcontract Awards, 52.223-18 Contractor Policies to Ban Text Messaging While Driving, FAR 52.232-34, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Other than Central Contractor Registration •7) The following DFARS clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation: DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items. Only the following DFARS clauses in paragraph(b) of DFARS 252.212-7001 are applicable: Transportation of Supplies by Sea Alternate III Quotes must be signed, dated and submitted by 23 February 2012, 1100 AM, Japan Standard Time.
