Description

Market Research for Water Purification for the Dialysis Clinic at the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This does not constitute a solicitation. The information gathered from this request for information (RFI) is for planning purposes only. The Government is not obligated, nor shall it pay for, any information received from potential sources as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. The purpose of this notice is to identify mandatory sources of supply as required by FAR 8.002 and small business entities capable of providing 510K compliant registered water purification system for the Dialysis Clinic as follows: Dialysis Water Purification Statement of Work 1.Introduction The Malcolm Randall VAMC in Gainesville, FL is currently in need of a new water purification system as part of the hemodialysis treatment center. 2.Requirements The Malcolm Randall VAMC in Gainesville, FL is seeking a turnkey water purification to be installed by the awarded contractor. The following parameters shall be considered by prospective vendors: -Multi-Media Filter for turbidity reduction -Activated Carbon filter for Chlorine, Chloramine Reduction -Water Softener for Hardness reduction -Reverse Osmosis System for reduction of TDS and Organics - Water purification system must be FDA 510k compliant registered medical device - AAMI Feed water analysis -AAMI Reverse Osmosis Product water analysis -RO Permeable Water Transfer Pumps - Service Exchange Service Deionization Tanks - RO Permeable Water Storage Tank Components to allow continuous operation of equipment -Control components for Mixed Beds SDI Tanks to ensure greater than 1Meg OHM water is exiting the MB tanks -Main Control Panel to be installed at Nurse's station - Final Filter Components for endotoxin removal - System installation is required. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) identifier for this service is Federal Supply Holders, 8(a) business, Small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran- owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women- owned small business concerns may respond by submitting a qualifications letter stating the following information: 1.Name 2.Capability Statement (include exact items stated in this notice) 3.DUNS # 4.Type of Business (i.e., SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, ETC ¦) Responses shall be sent via mail or email, no later than 4 p.m. EST on February 24, 2012.
