Weight 4.33 lbs. T.O. 9J2-4-120-4Fig 2-2. Material: Aluminum Alloy. Dimensions: 18in by 8 in by 6 in,Dampens undesirable yaw oscillations and obtain desired flight controlcorrections. Buyer: James Menefee, Ph: 405-739-4353; Fax: 405-739-4237;james.menefee@tinker.af.mil Qualification Requirements: Due to the complexity and criticality ofthis part, only manufacturers that have successfully completed alltesting required by the original company responsible for the design, ormanufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on itemsdetermined by the Government to be similar in complexity andcriticality, can be considered approved sources for this item. Current qualified sources are: Northrop Grumman, (Cage: 0JRC1), InterTrade Logistics (Cage: 3EH60), GE Aviation (Cage: 60029), Authority: 10U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required areavailable from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) andno other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is a full and open requirement. All proposals received within 45days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered bythe Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete thisproposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely withinthe discretion of the Government. Information received will normally beconsidered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct acompetitive procurement. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policiescontained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in itssolicitation for the described supplies or services. However,interested persons may identify to the contracting officer theirinterest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with acommercial item within 15 days of this notice. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors orpotential Offerors during the proposal development phase of thisacquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish theauthority of the program director or contracting officer, but tocommunicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested,the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of theconcern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation ofproposals or in the source selection process.
