- This acquisition is being issued in accordance with FAR Subpart 13. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, Mechanicsburg, PA has a requirement for PacketStorm IP Network Traffic Emulator Hardware and Software. Solicitation N00104-12-Q-Q387 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 334210 with a size standard of 1,000. This is issued as a Small Business set-aside; therefore only small businesses shall reply to this RFQ. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be issued. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible contractor whose quote conforming to the solicitation provides the most advantageous price to the Government. The customer and end user is Military Sealift Command located at the Washington Navy Yard. The delivery date shall be 30 days after award. Attached is an Excel spreadsheet for this requirement; please use this spreadsheet as a pricing tool. Additionally, included in the spreadsheet is a Brand Name Justification for PacketStorm hardware and software. Contractor ™s quote is due 5:00 P.M, Eastern, 24 Feb 2012, and shall be valid for 30 days.
