Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued under Request for Quotation (RFQ) number W912J7-12-T-0002. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-55 dated 02 February 2012. The North American Industry Classification system code (NAICS) 312113 size standard of 500 employees. This is a total small business set aside. USPFO Idaho Purchasing and Contracting intends to award a Master Blanket Purchase Agreement(s) (BPA(s) to no more than three quoter(s) that are determined lowest price technically acceptable. BPA(s) under the program will have a single call limit of $60,000.00. All calls over $3,000.00 will be placed by warranted Contracting Officers. BPA(s) will be established under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. This is the only synopsis that will be provided by the government before establishing and placing calls under the BPA(s). Should the requirement result in more than one BPA holder, sole source calls will be documented and established based on mission requirements. Supply is for 20lbs bags of potable crushed ice. All ice shall be delivered pure, sound and clear for use in drinking water, crushed and packaged in sealed plastic bags. Only commercially produced crushed/bagged ice, which has been produced from potable water will be accepted. Crushed ice will be packaged in clear plastic bags capable of supporting 20 lbs of crushed ice that will be stacked 50 -100 bags per pallet. Delivery vehicles used to deliver ice under this contract shall be subject to security inspections upon arrival at the Installation as well as sanitation inspections at destination. Ice transported in vehicles, which are not sanitary, or which are not equipped to maintain proper temperatures, may be rejected without further inspection. The estimated requirements for ice during the first year are 7,000 20lbs crushed ice bags. This is an estimate only it is not a guarantee.
